Accounts Technician

Mercedes-Benz Wexford has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Technician to join our finance team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controllers within the group and become an integral part of a dynamic and fast-paced business. Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Maintaining and reconciling purchase and sales ledgers
• Processing supplier invoices and customer receipts
• Preparing bank reconciliations and assisting with cash flow monitoring
• Assisting with year-end financial accounts and audit preparation
• Filing Revenue returns and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
• Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Liaising with department managers and the wider finance team
• Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

Qualifications / Skills

• Qualified Accounts Technician (or equivalent accounting qualification)
• Previous experience in an accounts or finance role is desirable
• Strong Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skills with excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a proactive and organised approach to work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• General proficiency in IT systems
