Seafield Hotel & Spa Resort is currently seeking an enthusiastic Wedding & Events Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic Sales and Events team.

Set in a stunning coastal location, our award-winning 4-star resort is renowned for hosting exceptional weddings, corporate events, and private functions, delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their career in event management within a luxury hospitality environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Support the coordination of weddings, corporate, and private events from initial enquiry through to execution, and completion of function sheets.

·        Manage and maintain the Hotsoft and Moposa systems to respond to enquiries, track bookings, and monitor availability.

·        Conduct show rounds for prospective clients, showcasing the Resort’s facilities for weddings and events.

·        Ensure prompt, professional responses to all enquiries, with consistent follow-up to maximise conversion.

·        Prepare detailed quotations and proposals for prospective clients.

·        Liaise closely with clients to coordinate all aspects and key details of their events.

·        Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of all bookings.

·        Monitor and manage event bookings, ensuring accuracy in all details, including billing information.

·        Meet and greet clients during their events, ensuring smooth and successful delivery.

·        Work closely with the wider Events and Sales team to deliver exceptional service.

·        Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling and enhancing event offerings.

·        Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and company procedures.

Skills & Requirements:

·        Proven track record in a similar role, ideally within a 4/ 5-star hotel or resort environment.

·        Strong sales ability with a proactive approach to upselling and client engagement.

·        Good understanding of event coordination, including room setups, menu planning, and service standards.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism.

·        Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

·        A team-oriented mindset with a flexible and positive attitude.

·        Confident presentation skills and attention to detail.

·        Strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to customer excellence.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with hotel systems (Hotsoft experience is an advantage).

·        Fluent English, both written and spoken.
