Technical Support Engineer – Full Time – Office-based in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.

Our client  in Co. Wexford, are welcoming applications for the position of Technical Support & Customer Service Associate within their experienced team. This is an entry level role where you will have the potential to develop either in customer service management or technical support engineering.

The Technical Support & Customer Service Associate will have a desire to work in the continually advancing IT industry and have a positive impact on customers as first point of contact for support issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contract for customers in the Network and Operations Customer Support Centre via phone and email.
  • Advocate for the resolution of customer issues and significantly contribute to the achievement of a positive customer experience.
  • Solve minor quick fix issues that commonly arise.
  • Coordinate queues and resources with extensive customer and colleague interaction.
  • Assist the Centre Manager with project management, reporting and administration.

This role will ideally suit you if:

  • You have at least two year’s previous experience ICS –  Administration of server / SAN issues and  in the admin of DR solutions / backup solutions
  • You have Server 2016 / 2019 certifications
  • You have more extensive experience in Microsoft 365 and some applicable certifications
  • You have third level degree qualification in a Business or Technical discipline
  • You have a technical aptitude or proven interest in IT
  • You are process driven and commercially aware, with strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Clear and professional fluent English language skills
