Leisure Centre Attendant/Swim Teacher

Job Description:

Talbot Fitness Wexford, part of the Talbot Hotel Wexford are currently recruiting for a Part Time Leisure Centre Attendant/Swim Teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Leisure Centre and the running and organization of swim classes. The Leisure Centre Attendant/Swim Teacher will report to the Leisure Centre Manager.

Duties will include:

Conducting Programmes and Assessments

Teaching Fitness Classes

Teaching swimming

Supervise swimming pool area

Meet highest standard of safety

Present professional appearance and attitude at all times

Maintain a high standard of customer service

Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency

All other duties as assigned and appropriate

Responsible for the safety of the participants in their own class

Instructs and evaluates students participating in swim lessons

The role involves weekend work so flexibility is required.
