Job Summary

Wexford County Council invites applicants for the post of European Social Fund+ Social Innovation in Sports Officer (Grade V) (3 year contract). Selection for this post will be by means of interview and candidates may be shortlisted based on applications submitted. Panels may be formed from which future vacancies may be filled. Applications will only be accepted on the official Wexford County Council application form as advertised with the post.

Each candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms:
a) Hold an honours degree ((Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) in any of the following areas Health, Exercise Science, Physical Activity, Diversity and Inclusion, Social Justice, Community Development, Education or related field and have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience working with the target groups mentioned and stakeholder engagement or
(b) have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience working with the target groups mentioned and stakeholder engagement and
(c) Hold a current clean full driving licence (minimum Class B) and have access to a car at all times for use in their work, details of which must be entered on the application form
