Job Description:

We are hiring for a Part-Time or Full-Time MSO for a Credit Union in Co Wexford / Co Wicklow

Duties and Responsibilities

ยท Act as teller/cashier including balancing own till and float daily

ยท Process Transactions on members accounts

ยท Post information as appropriate to member accounts

ยท Set up membership and all sub accounts on the system of record

ยท Assist members with setting up EFT, Direct Debit and Standing Order payments ยท Take loan applications in an efficient manner to ensure loans officers have all relevant information enabling them to make an informed decision

ยท Assist members complete relevant loan documents making them aware of the conditions of the agreement and of their consumer rights.

ยท Pay out loans to members ensuring all pre-conditions have been fulfilled

ยท Deal with over-the-counter/telephone enquiries courteously and efficiently

ยท Direct members to other credit union personnel as appropriate

ยท Issue documentation and items of general information to members and nonmembers as directed/required

ยท Take reasonable steps to ensure that where possible any problems are solved on the day on which the problem arises

ยท Ensure you have a full awareness and understanding of all products offered by the Credit Union to the extent that you could identify when they might suit a memberโ€™s requirements, be confident to promote them with members and be able to answer any questions surrounding the product.

ยท Prioritise tasks according to urgency

ยท Deal with all filing/scanning of correspondence, member documentation etc

ยท Ensure all documentation is signed where required

ยท Ensure member information is accurate and kept up-to-date.

ยท Manage communication in an accurate and efficient manner as required

ยท Open and distribute post

Skills and experience required

ยท Ideally have minimum 2 yearsโ€™ experience in the financial services industry

ยท Ideally have personal lending experience at a junior level.

ยท A passion for customer service and continuous improvement

ยท Be willing to obtain any required / relevant qualifications to support the role

ยท Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

ยท Excellent attention to detail

ยท Flexibility will be required in relation to hours and place of work to meet the needs of the role. Saturday hours are required as a minimum. Multiple Branch work possible.

Must have access to your own Transport.
