Responsible for performing and diagnosing complex mechanical repairs, including full component stripping and rebuilding, to meet manufacturer and safety standards. The role requires applying lean principles to improve repair efficiency, strictly following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and proficiency in specialized tasks like ADAS Calibration and 4-wheel alignment. You will ensure all work is compliant with vehicle manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out complex mechanical tasks including stripping and rebuilding for repair and component replacement to manufacturer standards. Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults with precision, ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
  • Apply lean techniques to improve efficiency and streamline mechanical repair processes.
  • Maintain and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality of repairs.
  • ADAS Calibration and 4 wheel alignment.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed in full compliance with vehicle manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

 

Requirements

  • Qualified Mechanic (A Must)
  • Main dealer experience an advantage
  • Proven mechanical experience in an automotive or similar technical environment.
  • Strong hands-on skills in mechanical repairs, including dismantling, fitting, and assembly of components.
  • Experience working with diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with lean methodologies and process-driven environments is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and capable of leading by example in achieving repair efficiency and quality targets.
  • Must have own tools (Tool Purchase Scheme available after 6 months).
  • Full valid driving license required.

  • Mechanical aptitude with strong fault-finding and repair capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all mechanical tasks.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to share knowledge and support colleagues.
