Waters Wexford are looking for a Manufacturing Technician!
Working within the Instrumentation Department (Mass Spectrometry and Informatics), we are responsible for the testing of Mass Spectrometry instruments and ensuring that instruments are tested as per the test instruction, and to the highest level of quality. Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity to join a highly focused team responsible for the functional configuration and evaluation of Waters market leading Mass Spectrometers. This position would suit an action oriented and career focused Individual who would like to develop within a World Class Organisation.
As part of a team, you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for complete functional configuration and evaluation of Waters market leading Mass Spectrometers. Establishing causes of malfunction and non-conformance in mechanical and electrical/electronic operations of the instrument with minimal loss of test time.
- Responsible for fault finding, repair and subsequent material transactions during a comprehensive test, which includes electrical configuration and system performance. Work with Quality procedures relating to material flow, material handling and processing of defective material.
- Contribute to process and product investigations using structured problem-solving techniques, ensuring robust sustainable solutions.
- Ensure all supporting documentation is completed in line with Good Documentation Practices. Complete DHR technical approval in line with Instrument performance requirements.
- Ensures compliance with ISO9001, ISO13485, 21 CFR part 820 and applicable good manufacturing practice regulations within the company
- Support Lean /Continual Improvement projects
Qualifications
Education:
Qualifications / Experience:
- Minimum pass degree in Electrical /Mechanical/Manufacturing or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a progressive, technically challenging manufacturing environment
- Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of ISO 9000, ISO 13485 Quality systems
- Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills
- The ability to prioritise and to work on your own initiative
What you will receive in return:
Working 39 hrs per week, with fortnightly pay. 22 Days holidays, plus bank holidays and an additional day per every 5 years service. Company Health Insurance Plan is available, along with death in service and pension plan.
