The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for all the steps of our manufacturing process, making sure a high standard of quality is met at every step of the process. From manufacturing cosmetics, assessing quality to supporting tasks such as maintaining the facility and equipment clean, your role will include serious commitment and multitasking.

You should have the ability to work in a small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You are a doer, highly motivated and reliable person with a strong work ethic and second-to-none standard of quality. You will be expected to work as a part of the team but also to be independent and confident in your work.

This is a role for someone who is ready to learn, grow and change as the company rapidly grows.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Complete process of melting beef tallow from suet (beef fat) to a finished high-end skincare ingredient.
  • Cleaning, trimming and handling raw beef fat
  • Manufacturing of handmade cosmetics from beef tallow. Using professional equipment such as mixers, pipping bags, filling machines, high precision scales and similar.
  • Handling raw ingredient in cosmetics manufacturing such as oils, butters, powders, essential oils and similar.
  • Handling precision scales and exact product specification where attention to detail is crucial and expected.
  • Cleaning on a daily rota and maintaining the facility and equipment to a high level of cleanliness required.
  • Packing the products which includes labelling, quality control and tracking individual batches.
  • Packing & unpacking of pallets and handling heavy boxes of products and ingredients.

You are:

  • Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic

  • Able to handle physical aspects of manufacturing work environment, including lifting of heavy ingredients, bowl, boxes, etc
  • Able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment and handle professional kitchen equipment
  • Able to follow precise instructions
  • Ready to learn, change and grow in a fast growing entrepreneurial company

Your experience is:

  • Fast paced kitchens as a chef, station chef or similar
  • Knife handling experience (butchers, chefs, meat processing or similar)
  • Experience of handling raw meat and following strict safety requirements in food or cosmetics industry
  • Bakery experience working with piping bags, mixers and scales

Candidates without the relevant experience will NOT be considered for the role.

Training and development opportunities will be provided. Successful candidates will be required to complete a manual handling course and will be instructed daily on the job. Ability to learn and grow is crucial.

The role is on a full-time basis at 40 hours per week – strictly from 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, with one hour lunch break.

Pay: €14.00-€15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
