Ergo are seeking a Level 2 Desktop Engineer for a 12 month contract opportunity in Wexford. This is an onsite role with a public-sector client where you will support the current ITIL-based Desktop environment for internal users.
The successful candidate will have experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 users, hardware installation and software deployment.
What will you do?
- Day to day operational support of the desktop environment
- End point troubleshooting of hardware and software (i.e. Microsoft suite – O365)
- Application troubleshooting and incident management across a range of standard and proprietary applications
- Provide local IT infrastructure support across a range of technologies, including network, voice and server
- Responsible for IT asset management
- Support of voice and video technologies, including mobile
- Interacting with other support groups (local and global) across multiple platforms
- Act as a local project resource for global initiatives i.e. Win11 migration
What do you need?
- 3+ years experience in a similar role (IT Support, Helpdesk Engineer, Systems Administrator)
- Office365 user support (Teams, SharePoint)
- Windows Server administration (Active Directory & Exchange)
- Videoconferencing
- Networking (IP Addressing and patching)
- Asset management
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant certifications including ITIL v4 / CompTIA / CCNA
