Junior Sales Associate – Quarrypark, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.

The Role in Brief:

The individual will experience professional business development and account management tasks and will be required to undertake several such tasks in keeping with their strengths and business needs as they are identified.

The focus of this role is transactional sales activity to acquire knowledge with respect to internal systems and processes and to develop relationships with customers.
Key Activities:

On commencement, your manager will outline the specific activities assigned and the expectations associated with these:
– To engage extensively with a set of active, inactive and/or prospect customers for the purpose of account activation and increase of sales activities.
– To understand customer requirements, to recognize changing demands and to be adaptable to meet these requirements.
– To match customer requirements to products, services, and solutions within the portfolio.
– Build and maintain sustainable customer relationships in a professional B2B environment.
– To establish new opportunities with new and existing customers.
– To generate quotations and process orders with strong attention to detail.
– To develop and utilize selling techniques to achieve targets.
– To ensure that an accurate record of customer interactions is maintained in a timely manner on the CRM system.
– To undertake such other administration duties relating to the delivery of the objectives of the role where required.
– To demonstrate commercial awareness in undertaking all duties and to consider the business impact of all actions.
– To mutually support colleagues in the achievement of goals
– To be flexible to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Direct Sales Team Leader from time to time
– You may be required to process customer personal data to fulfill the company’s business, service delivery and contractual obligations. You may also be required to process certain employee personal data. You are required to process any such data in compliance with the company Data Protection procedures.
– You are required to comply with all Information Security Procedures in line with our Information Security Management System.
– To drive personal learning and development with the support of the Direct Sales team.

The role will ideally suit you if:

  • Industry Experience- Customer focused work experience is an advantage.
  •  Leaving certificate or equivalent is essential.
