Role Overview: As a Finance Manager at our state-of-the-art  facility, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of the site. Working closely with site leadership and divisional finance leaders, you will provide crucial financial insights and analysis to drive informed decision-making and support our mission of advancing diabetes care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis to site leadership and divisional finance leaders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop ongoing and new financial management initiatives and cost improvement projects.
  • Lead the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans, contributing valuable insights to guide the organization’s strategic direction.
  • Manage a team of FP&A Accountants, providing guidance and support to drive financial excellence.
  • Utilize Lean methodologies, KPIs, and Business Intelligence reporting to provide actionable metrics and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports and analytics for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business to serve as a trusted financial partner in decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in FP&A roles, with a proven track record of providing key business insights.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of qualified accountants.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Business Intelligence Reporting tools.
  • Highly desirable: Experience in the manufacturing sector, with knowledge of Lean methodologies.
  • Highly desirable: Previous experience in a practice/audit background.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is advantageous.
