Chef De Partie

Seafield Hotel and Spa Resort

Chef De Partie is required to join the successful culinary brigade at Seafield Hotel & Spa Resort.

The Candidate:

  • Chef qualification/2-3 years Chef De Partie experience essential
  • Must have a passion for cooking and be very creative
  • Ability to produce dishes to a consistently high standard
  • HACCP trained and hold an up to date certificate
  • Knowledge of ordering, stock control and waste management.
  • Flexible to meet business needs
  • Fluent English is required (Written and Oral)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all service within the kitchen is performed to the highest standard
  • Ensure that all stock is kept under optimum conditions
  • Help develop and introduce new menus and recipes
  • Ensure that all mis-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time
  • Attend training and development as required
  • Assist the Executive Head Chef & Head Chef to ensure Health & Safety is maintained on a daily basis
  • Waste management

The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills.

This role will involve midweek and weekend shifts, a mix of day time and night time hours is required. Flexibility in working hours is therefore essential.
