Are you interested in cars and looking to start a career in the motor industry? BYD Wexford is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Parts Advisor to join our Aftersales team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, develop new skills and build a career within the automotive industry. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the parts department.
- Assist with ordering, receiving and organising vehicle parts.
- Check stock levels and help maintain an organised parts department.
- Assist the Service and Parts teams with their daily requirements.
- Help identify and supply the correct parts for vehicles.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure parts are stored correctly.
The Ideal Candidate
- Basic mechanical knowledge is essential.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use their own initiative.
- Previous experience in a parts department or motor industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
