BYD Wexford are recruiting a Car Valetor / General Operative to join our busy dealership.
We have a significant number of employees who started in car valeting and progressed to become Master Technicians, Parts Advisors and Sales Executives.
Responsibilities
Preparing cars for handover to sales and aftersales customers.
Washing and cleaning vehicles using specialised tools, cleaning agents and techniques.
Polishing and waxing the exterior of vehicles to restore shine and protect the paint.
Vacuuming and detailing the interior of vehicles, including upholstery, carpets and dashboard.
Cleaning and shining wheels, tyres and rims.
Inspecting vehicles with the Sales/Service person prior to customer handover.
Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Ensuring regular stock levels of cleaning materials are maintained.
Ideal Candidate
Full clean driver’s licence is essential.
Be able to work well as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
