As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking for a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team. The role is full time and based at our manufacturing facility in Wexford. Position: Bookkeeper / Financial assistant

Location: Wexford

Responsibilities:

· Accounts Payables:

o Post supplier invoices, review purchases order posted from manufactory system.

o Reconciling supplier statements.

o Reply to suppliers’ queries.

o Book supplier payments.

o Book payment of proforma invoices.

· Accounts Receivables

o Process and send sales invoices.

o Upload sales invoices to client portal.

o Send client statement of account at month end.

o Review debtors report and follow up on payment confirmation

· Bank Reconciliation

o Reconcile Bank payments and receivable.

o Keep records of Proforma payments and follow up

o Post and Reconciled Credit Card

o Post and Reconciled Petty Cash expenses

· Month end journals

o Post depreciation journal and keep fixed assets register up-to-date

o Post interest charges

· Payroll Administration

o Process staff overtime.

o Assist on controlling staff holidays.

o Process staff expenses and reimbursements

o Process Bi-monthly VAT returns

o Keep records of invoices and timesheet for R&D tax credit claim

Requirements:

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.

· Strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Familiarity with XERO or other ERP system.

Qualifications:

Qualified Accounts Technician

Knowledge ERP: XERO or QuickBooks or Sage accounts

Microsoft excel intermediate/advance level – training will be provided

At least 1 years previous experience in a similar role, required.

Reliable, adaptable with strong organizational skills

A self-motivated individual who is also a collaborative team player.

Pay 16 to 18 per hour – depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
