Bar Manager – Dry Dock Bar, Ferrycarrig Hotel

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bar Manager in Ferrycarrig Hotel, Wexford. Previous experience in a similar busy food service environment is essential.

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Bar Manager will lead the operational & financial success of the Dry Dock Bar.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • People leadership, including recruiting, retaining, developing and motivating employees.
  • Lead the bar department in meeting standards through on the job training and feedback
  • Ensure excellent service is provided to all our guests.
  • Liaise with the Kitchen to ensure smooth service and effective communication between Front and Back of House Operations
  • Manage the roster to ensure cost effectiveness of the department.
  • Proactively work on improving and responding to customer feedback through analysis and planning.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a bar management role in a similar environment
  • Excellent Leadership skills – motivating, engaging and developing the team
  • High standards and attention to detail.
  • An excellent focus on our customers.
  • Passionate about Food and Beverage
