Whites of Wexford are seeking a passionate and driven Experienced Assistant Bar Manager to manage the day-to-day running of multiple beverage outlets within our hotel. About You:
- You have proven experience in a management role within a bar or hospitality environment, ideally with multi-outlet exposure.
- You’re passionate about hospitality, food& drinks culture, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- You stay current with industry trends and enjoy sharing that knowledge with your team.
- You’re confident in leading a team, providing constructive feedback, and inspiring others to perform at their best.
- You have a solid understanding of stock management, cost control, and the commercial aspects of running successful bars.
The Role:
- Manage daily operations of all hotel bars, ensuring a consistent, high-quality guest experience.
- Supervise and support bar teams across multiple outlets, maintaining standards in service, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Ensure all bars adhere to exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards, with regular checks and staff accountability.
- Stay up to date with emerging drinks trends, seasonal offerings, and guest preferences to keep menus innovative and engaging.
- Support the creation and implementation of new cocktail menus, balancing creativity with cost control and guest appeal.
- Conduct and participate in training sessions to upskill bar staff in techniques, product knowledge, and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking.
- Assist with onboarding and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and development of team members.
- Implement and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Address guest feedback and resolve any service issues quickly and professionally.
- Monitoring budgets, control costs, and drive revenue across all bar outlets.
- Ensure all POS systems and cash handling procedures are followed accurately across each bar.
- Take a proactive role in team motivation, engagement, and promoting a positive work environment.
