Crown Bar is one of Wexford’s busiest late-night venues, famous for its atmosphere, live music, packed weekends and unforgettable nights out. During the Christmas and New Year season, things go up another level.

We’re looking for experienced, energetic and confident Bartenders to join our team on fixed-term contracts until 8th January.

Due to the fast-paced nature of the role, a minimum of two years’ previous experience working in a busy bar environment is essential.

If you know your way around a busy bar, can deliver great service at speed and keep your cool when the bar is three deep, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Serving drinks quickly and accurately

Making cocktails and mixed drinks

Creating an amazing guest experience and atmosphere

Handling payments and operating tills

Keeping the bar stocked, clean and ready for action

Working closely with a fun, energetic team

What We’re Looking For

Minimum of two years’ previous experience in a busy bar environment – essential

Strong knowledge of bar service, drinks and basic cocktails

Confident working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Available to work weekends, late nights and throughout the Christmas and New Year period

Positive attitude and plenty of energy

Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Reliable, hardworking and committed for the full duration of the contract

A genuine team player who is happy to get stuck in and support those around them

Fair Warning…

December in Crown Bar is not for the faint-hearted.

The music is loud, the pace is fast, the queues are deep and the energy is electric. You’ll finish some shifts exhausted, but you’ll also finish them knowing you’ve been part of one of Wexford’s biggest nights out, working alongside an amazing team. That’s why we’re looking for experienced bartenders who know what a seriously busy bar looks like and are ready to hit the ground running.
