Part-Time Shopify & E-commerce Assistant

The role will start at approximately 15–20 hours per week, with the potential to develop into a full-time e-commerce role over time. Wexford / Hybrid

We a growing independent health store with physical stores in Wexford and Kilkenny, as well as a busy online store.

We are currently moving our online store to Shopify and are looking for a practical, hands-on person who has strong Shopify experience to help with the day-to-day running of the website.

This is not a web development role. We already work with an external web agency for development and technical support.

We are looking for someone who is confident using Shopify and can take responsibility for many of the everyday tasks involved in running an e-commerce website.

Main Responsibilities

– Managing products, collections, tags and navigation within Shopify

– Adding and updating products, descriptions, images and pricing

– Setting up and maintaining special offers and promotional collections

– Making sure products appear in the correct collections and filters

– Keeping website content accurate and up to date

– Checking the website regularly for issues

– Fixing straightforward Shopify problems

– Liaising with our web agency where technical or development work is required

– Helping improve how products and collections are presented on the website

– Supporting the general day-to-day running of the online store

What We’re Looking For

The most important requirement is strong, practical Shopify experience.

You should be comfortable working within Shopify and have experience using it as part of a live e-commerce business.

Experience working with a larger product catalogue would be an advantage.

You do not need to be a developer, but you should be confident handling everyday Shopify tasks yourself and be able to recognise when something needs to be passed to a developer.

Experience with product merchandising, website content or basic e-commerce SEO would also be useful.

Hours

Approximately 15–20 hours per week

There can be flexibility around how the hours are worked.

This role may suit someone looking for part-time work, someone returning to work, or an experienced e-commerce person looking for regular weekly hours.

Location

Wexford or hybrid working can be considered for the right person.
