Brandon House Hotel & Solas Croí Spa is currently recruiting enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistants to join our growing team. Applicants need to be able to work mid week shifts as well as weekend shifts.

Brandon House Hotel & Solas Croí Spa is a family-owned four-star hotel located in the heart of New Ross, County Wexford. Our hotel offers 78 guest bedrooms, the Gallery Restaurant, Library Bar, extensive conference and banqueting facilities, a Leisure Centre, and the award-winning Solas Croí Spa. As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through friendly, professional, and efficient service.

You will work across a variety of food and beverage outlets including:

• Gallery Restaurant
• Library Bar
• Conference & Banqueting Facilities
• Weddings & Events
• Private Dining Functions

This role offers excellent opportunities to develop hospitality skills and progress within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in accordance with hotel standards.
• Set up and clear tables and function rooms.
• Assist with weddings, conferences, banquets, and special events.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout service areas.
• Handle guest queries and requests professionally.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures.

We’re Looking For

Essential

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work mid week, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Professional appearance and presentation.
• Ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment.

Desirable

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment.
• Food safety training.
• Barista or bar experience.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
