• Location: Gorey depot (Y25 KT35)
• Position: Permanent, Full-Time
• Earnings: €18.02/hr basic
• Shift Pattern: 4 days per week (Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays)
• Working Hours: Early morning starts (5:00 AM / 6:00 AM) finishing around 5:00 PM
• Breaks: 1 paid hour break per shift

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RCV Driver to join Panda, Ireland’s largest waste management business. We’re committed to environmental excellence and are looking for a reliable professional to join our team at our Gorey depot. This is a hands-on role for a professional driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service, and maintaining their vehicle to a high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Vehicle Operation: Safely and efficiently drive and operate an RCV Truck (Category C vehicle) for waste collection.
• Service Delivery: Effectively manage your route to complete assigned collections and deliveries.
• Compliance & Tech: Perform daily and weekly vehicle safety checks to ensure compliance, and maintain accurate electronic and written records.
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with your team and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Vehicle Care: Ensure your vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and presentable.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

• Days: 4 days per week across Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work required depending on business needs.
• Hours: Early morning starts (runs kick off between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM) and finishing around 5:00 PM.
• Breaks: 1 paid hour break included per shift.

What We’re Looking For

• Essential Requirement: A clean and valid Category C licence, a current Digital Tachograph Card, and up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Insurance Criteria: You must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Core Skills: Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Flexibility: A reliable approach with the willingness to support operational needs, including occasional Saturdays when required.
