Accommodation Porters

Whites of Wexford are now recruiting for Accommodation Porters to join their team.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a confident, organised person who has excellent attention to detail, will be motivated and have good social and communication skills. They will also have a flexible attitude towards shift work as the role will involve working evenings, midweek, and weekends.

The Candidate:

1. Good communication skills and attention to detail.
2. Previous experience working as a Housekeeping Porter in a hotel is desirable.
3. Flexible to work both mid-week and weekend shifts.
4. Honest, reliable, flexible, and hardworking.

Essential Functions:

1. Delivering clean linen to all accommodation stores and collecting all dirty linen from the accommodation hallways.
2. Assess the quality and accuracy of all linen deliveries and store same.
3. Maintains excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the Hotel.
4. Assist with striping of beds and cleaning of rooms each day
5. Ensures all maintenance requests are communicated clearly to the Maintenance Team.
6. Deals with all guest requests in a professional and timely manner.
7. Ensure that all checklists are completed.
8. Follows hotel procedure for the acceptance, security and return of guest lost property.
9. Adhere to hotel policy for key control and security.
