Qualified Motor Mechanic

Audi Wexford seek to recruit a Qualified Motor Mechanic Technician.

Qualification/Skills:

• Be a fully qualified motor mechanic technician.
• Have experience with diagnostic & modern vehicle electronics.
• Be computer literate with strong admin skills.
• Be self-motivated and dedicated to achieving high quality standards.
• Have good oral and written English.
• Hold a Full Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all mechanical work with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and manufacturer’s standards.
• Be responsible for diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and the performance of repairs.
• Liaise with Service Manager on diagnostics at all times.
• Highlight additional or extra work required – duty of care – due diligence.
• Road test vehicle to ensure work is completed accurately.
• Complete write-ups on work complete, highlighting any observations of work needing to be done urgently or otherwise, etc.
• Complete warranty write-ups as per manufacturers & company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, neat work bay and adhere to all company policies.
• Report any problems with working equipment.
