As the Operations Manager at Crown Quarter, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our vibrant destination. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, leading a dynamic team, prioritising health and safety, and driving initiatives. Working closely with the General Manager, you will develop and implement strategies that elevate the guest experience, optimise revenue opportunities, and uphold our commitment to exceptional service and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
•    Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive team culture that reflects Crown Quarter’s innovative and guest-centric ethos.
•    Lead with care, ensuring that team members feel valued, supported, and moti-vated to excel.
•    Empower and inspire team members to consistently deliver outstanding and unique guest experiences, encouraging a mindset of always getting better.
•    Provide strong leadership, direction, and mentorship to department heads and operational teams, fostering professional growth and excellence.
Operational Leadership:
•    Partner with the General Manager to develop and execute forward-thinking operational strategies that enhance guest comfort and elevate the Crown Quarter experience.
•    Oversee the seamless coordination of various departments, including front of-fice, accommodation, food and beverage, events, and guest services.
•    Ensure smooth interdepartmental communication and collaboration to maintain operational efficiency and service excellence, always prioritising doing the right thing.
Event & Wedding Management:
•    Work closely with the events team to curate and deliver bespoke, high-quality events, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
•    Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive event business, optimising revenue opportunities and enhancing Crown Quarter’s reputation as a premier destination.
Health and Safety:
•    Champion a proactive health and safety culture, continuously refining proto-cols to uphold a secure and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
•    Conduct regular safety inspections and compliance audits, swiftly addressing any potential risks or concerns with care and responsibility.
Sustainability Initiatives:
•    Lead sustainability efforts by identifying innovative ways to minimise environ-mental impact and enhance resource efficiency within Crown Quarter.
•    Work with relevant departments to integrate and promote sustainable practices among team members and guests, aligning with Crown Quarter’s commitment to doing the right thing.
Financial Management:
•    Assist the General Manager in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and cost management to drive profitability.
•    Optimise revenue generation through dynamic pricing strategies, value-driven up selling opportunities, and effective labour cost management, demonstrating energy & drive to exceed financial targets.
Guest Relations:
•    Handle guest feedback with professionalism and care, ensuring swift and effective resolution of concerns while enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
•    Uphold and continuously refine service standards to exceed guest expectations, reinforcing Crown Quarter’s reputation for exceptional hospitality and unforgettable experiences.
Qualifications and Requirements:
•    Strong leadership and organisational skills, with a passion for always getting better.
•    Experience in operations, events, and food and beverage management within the hospitality industry.
•    Knowledge of health and safety regulations and sustainability best practices.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
